Position Summary

The Senior Education Learning Analyst reports to the Manager of BSRO Learning Technology. The Senior Education Learning Analyst leads the data solutions and reporting for all educational training initiatives. This position is responsible for maintaining the data flow for the BSRO LMS, delivering expert data insights within the appropriate reporting system, and facilitates communication with the IT and Workday HR teams. This role coordinates with the Manager of BSRO Learning Technology to find technical solutions for data that meets specific business needs. Successful individuals in this role must be able to translate system usage and reporting visibility into a real-world understanding of learning initiatives.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities and duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Supports strategic direction for BSRO learning technology, including the learning management system (LMS), content delivery methodology, reports/analytics, and support platforms

  • Internal expert resource on learning data analytics and acts as liaison to the Enterprise LMS Team

  • Supports the overall operations, maintenance, and data solutions of the LMS for BSRO assuring efficient operation, functional assistance, and implementation support to the field liaising with vendor for support as needed

  • Supports the development of data collecting systems for AMEX, chargeback, hotel pricing, hotel management, and travel booking for ongoing review, automation and revision working closing with the Travel, Expense, and Meeting Specialist & the Education Travel and Logistics Coordinator

  • Collaborates with and advises on appropriate data solutions that fit within the hardware and software infrastructure

  • Creates reporting and analysis on monthly and annual basis regarding performance of programs, content and execution for the department initiatives and strategies within set guidelines

  • Continuously implementing automated solutions for all BSRO education data processes for internal and external teams

  • Creates, maintains, and enhances education team and field reporting for learning as needed

  • Provides cross-functional support to dependent departments with labor and productivity data, analysis, and education/insight

  • And other duties as assigned

Knowledge, skills, abilities and personal attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 3+ years of data analytics experience. A combination of education and experience may be considered

  • Ability to communicate and create visualization for all organizational levels

  • Strong written and verbal skills

  • Capable of managing large strategic initiatives

  • Ability to work with large and complex data sets for the purpose of analyzing and reporting

  • Proficiency with the Microsoft suite, PowerPoint, Excel, Word

Qualifications

  • Learning and Development experience

  • LMS backend knowledge

Experience with systems/applications such as:

  • Data transformation tools - Alteryx, Alteryx (Server)

  • Analytics tools - Power BI, Tableau

  • Excel PowerQuery and PowerPivot

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This role is an individual contributor role with no direct reports

Minimum Qualifications

Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a bachelor’s degree; or 3 years and a master’s degree; or a PhD without experience; or equivalent work experience.

The ideal candidate will currently be residing in the Nashville, TN area.
