The Truck, Bus, and Radial (TBR) Original Equipment Account Manager is responsible for assisting with strategy development and implementation, targeted to drive volume, profit and in-house share growth across the portfolio of Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) that he/she manages. Other primary responsibilities include forecasting demand, negotiating long-term agreements, and managing the joint business planning process to gather Boss insight across the portfolio of OEMs.
Responsible for development of annual business plans for Tractor and Trailer OEMs
Responsible for executing call coverage and call frequency expectations for each OEM
Partner with OEMs and Demand Planning team to develop by customer forecast monthly
Provide market and customer insight to Director of OEM and demand planning regularly
Collaborate with customer service, and supply chain to identify improvement opportunities for forecast and on-time delivery
Negotiate long term supply agreements (LTA's) with large OEM customers partnering with Legal, Pricing, Finance, & Supply Planning as necessary
Manage new product launches with OE customers to increase speed to market, ensure smooth transition and realization of performance value
Partner with Engineering & Development teams to provide Boss insight and market intelligence to ensure the technology roadmap will meet or exceed future customer expectations
Accountable for individual customer P&L management, review, and communication of accruals
Identify and drive alignment of countermeasures, when necessary, to ensure targeted results are achieved across multiple functional areas
Utilize available resources including marketing, customer service, IT, engineering and others to develop additional value with customer relationships
Travel up to 50%
MBA Preferred, 4 Year Degree Required
3 + years of experience managing and developing business to business relationships
Supply chain management experience
Experience/knowledge of commercial OE industry
Experience negotiating long term agreements
Ability to work closely with internal and external resources to achieve desired results
